Color and painting {mt. pleasant, tx engagement and portrait photographer}

March 20, 2011

“There is not one blade of grass, there is no color in this world that is not intended to make us rejoice.”-John Calvin
Colors truly give my heart a thrill :). They make me open my eyes and mouth wide from happy surprise :D.This picture makes me think of Rebekah J. Murray (who happens to be one of my ALL time favorite photographers!! Her work is STUNNING! Rebekah, I really hope I can meet you in person someday :D. )

Well, my mother has been painting a lot lately. (She oil paints in case y’all forgot ๐Ÿ™‚ ). This particular painting is still in progress as you see. She got to this point in only 2 hours time!! She’s getting faster and better :D.

I’m always intrigued by her painting pallet…the raw, vibrant colors (LOVE!)

Here she is at work :).

Enjoy this WONDERFUL weather we’re having! (…at least it’s wonderful here in East Texas…if you’re from somewhere else and the weather isn’t wonderful…be content! Lol ๐Ÿ™‚ ).
With a smile,
{ Rachel Leigh }
