Last weekend my parents and I went down to San Antonio for a Bible conference at Iglesia Bautista Particular de la Gracia Soberana! 😀 Dad was one of the speakers (in case y’all didn’t know, my dad is bi-vocational; he’s a dentist and the pastor of our church 😀 ) We’re very close with this Spanish speaking church. The pastor is Bro. Joe Ortega and we’ve known him and his family for over 10 years. (wow) They are so wonderful!! They’re just like family :). And the other brethren at the church are dear as well :D. I always feel so loved when we visit their church. Everyone, everyone at their church gives you a hug! Even if they just saw you the day before (like at the conference since there were meetings Friday, Saturday, and church on Sunday). And another thing I LOVE is how the adults most often call me “mija” (pronounced mee’-ha) which pretty much means girl or daughter :D.

It was a wonderful weekend of hearing the Word of God preached (you can listen to the sermons here), fellowshipping with the saints, eating authentic Mexican food :D, watching “Tangled” hehe :D, and playing games like “Ninja” and “Psychiatrist” :D.So, while we were down there I took some portraits during “golden hour” of my sweet and awesome friend Pearl Elizabeth Ortega!! 😀

Like I’ve already said, we’ve known each other over a decade. She’s now 18 going on 19 and has turned into a beautiful, fun, and sweet daughter of the King and I love her very much :). And she’s one of the best dancers I know; she’s got that Latin passion ;D.

She is such a sweetheart :).

And she has the thickest hair I’ve ever encountered!! It’s SO amazing! And curly/wavy :D.
