A visit to the Mission Espada and a bit more :) {san antonio, tx portrait and wedding photographer}

October 29, 2012

Two weekends ago, my Dad and I were in San Antonio for Hillburn Drive Grace Baptist Church’s annual Bible conference. Dad was asked to preach and I wanted to go (Mom didn’t go because she didn’t want to be away from her sister who has cancer). I flew into Dallas from my visit to Missouri and Dad and I drove on down to San Antonio :).The next day, after the morning service, we went with our dear old friends the Ortegas (Bro, Joe, Mrs. Pearl, and Joanna) to the first mission in Texas!
Joanna investigating a random building on the property (which turned out to be a place to rent for parties. Haha).
Y’all remember her from last year? She’s a cutie :D.
And a beauty! Goodness, girl!
Mrs. Pearl said I needed my picture taken too. Hehe :).
Love her fun style :D.
In the midst of our exploring, Joanna discovered something! A note in the wall!
And it was written just 4 days before! Isn’t that neat?!
Putting it back behind the loose rock.
We had a little trouble remembering how it went back.
Then we flipped it and voila! πŸ˜€
Hehe :D.
Love this girl :D.
Bein’ all serious ;).
I love this one, Joanna! You look awesome and happy :D.
Stunning.
Here’s Bro. Joe and Dad :D. They’re close friends andΒ boy, can they make each other laugh! It’s so fun :D.
And here’s Mrs. Pearl! She’s so adorable :D. This couple makes me happy :).
Then the next day was our last day at the conference :'(. Here are my food line buddies: Matthew and Isaac Garza and Pearl and Joanna Ortega :D.
Then, before Dad and I left, we went outside to get a group picture of us girls. This was a test shot to adjust my camera settings. Hehe :D. This is Hannah Latham; she and Pearl are best friends and they make me smile :D.
And here it is!! :D. I feel so loved every time I’m with these people :D. I love y’all!! They set up this pose, by the way. They were calling “Come on! Get in here!” It melted my heart πŸ™‚ :).

I hated to leave, but was thankful for the short, blessed, fun time we had :).

With a smile,
