Emily and I first met three years ago at the annual Fellowship Conference in Denton. When she said who she was, her name kind of rang a bell and then she said “On Instagram, I’m ‘hisjoyfulservant.’ ” YES! Haha. I had seen her username on there so many times and it always made me smile. So, we were now officially friends :D. That’s why I was so happy when she asked if I could take her senior pictures! When your clients are your friends, it’s so fun :D. And this session was definitely fun! We were at a beautiful beautiful country location my awesome friend +Elizabeth Bristol told me about ’cause McKinney is her stomping grounds and country is exactly what Emily wanted :D. She is a cowgirl who loves photography and is a violin teacher! So awesome :D.
Beautiful :D.
And did you notice that the pretty leaves/vines all around her was poison oak? Yeah, we didn’t either. Hahaha. My MOM did though! Haha. She looked over from talking to Emily’s mom and said “GIRLS! GET AWAY FROM THAT! THAT’S POISON OAK! DON’T LET IT TOUCH YOU!” Hahahaha. Whoops! Mom’s highly allergic to it, so she’s very aware of it’s existence and watching out for it. Haha. Made pretty pictures though!
She recently started learning how to play the mandolin!
Love when she laughs ๐
So lovely ๐
Emily, you are so pretty!!
Love how this turned out.
Then an outfit switch! And her mom made this dress just TWO DAYS before this! Haha. It turned out so perfect for her!
Love the whole feel of this :D.
This! Place! Man. This place and the weather combined just made one fantastic backdrop for this girl.

Mom wanted to get a picture of us :D.
