Yep! I’m finally hosting an internship :D. I’ve thought about it for a couple years now, but always felt I needed some more experience. But after people asking and me being further in my business now, I’m finally having one :D.
Price: $325
When: August 14 and 15
Where: At my house ๐
Who can apply: Girls 15 and up (I’ll be accepting up to 5 girls)
What you’ll need: a DSLR, a laptop, and at least the trial version of Photoshop Lightroom.
What it entails: two full days of learning about photography in a relaxed and fun environment! :D. We’ll talk about shooting in manual, running photoshoots, editing, blogging, branding, marketing, pricing, etc… :). Meals and lodging are provided by me! ๐ (But bring a little cash for possible Sonic trips and such ๐ ). Now, I just want to say I don’t have every aspect of a photography business down perfectly (nobody does) and I continue to learn, but I do believe I have things to share that will help you begin :). Friday and Saturday are the official internship days, but I’d encourage everyone to come Thursday evening to meet, eat, and get to know each other a bit before we begin bright and early the next morning :D. We’ll talk and work during the day (with a possible swimming interruption, so bring your swimsuit! :D) and then we’ll have models each evening to practice running a photoshoot with! I’ll also take portraits of each of you to use for your photography brand :D. And everyone is welcome to spend Saturday night as well and come to church with me Sunday morning! But if you’re local and want to get back home, that’s fine :).
