Happy Friday, y’all! :DTodays post is not about a wedding or a photo shoot I did, but a dress company I’m passionate about!!

Virginia Dare Dress Co. 😀

Back in April, my remarkable, dear wedding photographer friend I’ve looked up to for years, Rebekah J. Murray (you can see her adorable, beautiful face below :D), added me and over 100 other kindreds to a closed Facebook group to share with us a clothing company she was starting!! She’d been working on it for two years (she’s done her homework), but now wanted input from her friends to help make this company a beautiful success. Well, we were all ecstatic because we knew anything Rebekah put her mind to create was guaranteed to be completely wonderful; we were beyond honored to be included so early on :D.
And thus began the polls: what did we want in a dress? What problems did we have with dress buying? What did we want our style to convey? What sizing terms did we prefer? etc… It was all so exciting and it felt SO GOOD to describe our dream dresses to her (fitted waists! classy lengths! POCKETS!) and know that she was going to make them come true 😀 :D.

Fast forward to last Wednesday and, with the help of many kindreds, the Virginia Dare Dress Co. Kickstarter was launched :D. If you haven’t already found your way to it through the links I’ve snuck in, watch the video below and discover Rebekah’s beautiful, beautiful vision for this company 🙂 :).

And here are the three enchanting dresses you can pre-order to help make this dream a reality!! 😀

I hope you join us in this lovely endeavor in whatever way you can: everything helps and means so much :). Even if you just like us on Facebook or follow us on Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter!
Have a delightful weekend, y’all 😀

The event could not have gone more smoothly, and from my perspective, less stressfully. I was able to relax, let my hair down, and totally enjoy the party, and felt totally pampered and cared for by their manager. The food at New York wedding venues was excellent, and the floral were gorgeous and reasonably priced.
