Ten years ago this week, 18 year old me was interning with the lovely Jessica Shae and I officially launched “Rachel Leigh” :D. Learning from her gave me the foundation I needed to begin building a photography business and I’m forever grateful :).
From then until now is the story of the little business God has blessed me with that I so much enjoy :). Like I say on my website, my favorite part of doing what I do is getting to know people and experiencing the privilege of documenting/being a part of such special moments in their lives and striving to capture them well, truly, and as stress free as possible :). I want to aid and not distract. God has been so faithful in every photoshoot, every wedding, to strengthen, help, and I give Him all praise for the photos I take :).
So! Since 10 years is a pretty special milestone, I thought I’d take those interested down memory lane for some behind the scenes of my work over the past decade :). I don’t always have a second shooter/assistant with me, but for the times I have, I have these memories and the following ladies to thank for them :)…
