This past weekend, my friends the Brunsons, the Moores, and the Crawfords went camping at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park and the Brunsons let me be a part of their family temporarily :D.Many of the things we did weren’t captured in my camera (like riding bikes to the trout pond, playing “Ninja”, etc…oh, and in “Ninja” I won 2 out of 4 ๐ ) because I was doing them too and sometimes you just have to put away your camera and join in on the fun :).But I did get some shots of the more relaxing side of our weekend.
Here is Silas Moore and Louisa Crawford enjoying camping snacks :D.
Bella Crawford was too and Sarah Grace Moore was having fun in the “dirt” box. Haha ๐ (this was a main attraction for the little kids).
Oh, Capri Sun!! You bring back so many childhood memories!
Down at the lake. This is Shelbi Moore hiding from my camera. No, I couldn’t get her to smile for me this time. Shelbi, you don’t have to hide from the camera! You’re BEAUTIFUL!
Here’s her sister Savannah. She’s a little camera shy too. Same story here, Savannah!! ๐
Oh, look! It’s our old friend Allix B.! ๐
Look inside the sunglasses and you can see Susanna Simpson (of Southern Pines Photography) taking a picture of Allix! ๐ Oh, yes, I forgot to mention that Susanna was there for half of the weekend (she stayed with the Brunsons too). It was her 17th birthday (woohoo!) and she wanted to spend part of it with us! We’re very glad she did :D.

When I saw Shelbi looking so cute sitting on the scooter, I had to take a picture of her! After a couple of “Pleeeease?”s, she consented :D.

The first night we had a cowboy themed dinner and most of us dressed accordingly :D. Here is Allix modeling the more urban cowgirl style and looking awesome :D.
The bouquet that graced the table :). The yellow roses were a gift from Susanna’s dad for her birthday (aww!) and the pink azaleas were from our yard :).
Happy Allix. Haha ๐

Bro. Ryan Brunson cooked some home-made deer sausage to add to breakfast (and by home-made I mean he shot the deer, they processed it themselves, the whole sha-bang).

The kids also enjoyed riding their bikes up and down in front of the campers (this is Stephen Moore and Lizzie Crawford).

Oh… :)…these were the lights that adorned the Brunson’s camper and I loved them!! I loved them so much they were what I chose for week 8 of “The *I love* project”.
We went down to the pier and enjoyed gazing across the water, having the wind toss our hair about, and playing “Pooh sticks” (I got third place ๐ ).
When we went in search of adequate sticks for the game, I snapped this shot :).
I LOVE LOVE this picture of y’all! I love it so much, it doesn’t even bug me that Maddie has some of her hair in her mouth. Haha ๐
Very lovely, Maddie! ๐
