Last weekend, my parents, my friend Kayleigh, and I attended a Bible conference/camp in Denton, TX :). I was blessed by some wonderful sermons, exchanging testimonies of what God has done for us, saw many old friends and made many new ones :D. Speaking of old friends, my dear dear friend Amanda Marie Webb was there!!
We’ve known each other our whole lives, but ever since she was saved from the power of sin 3 years ago, we’ve been best friends :). She’s 18 (almost 19), smart, funny, completely awesome, and a sweet child of God :).
Enjoying the morning on the back porch of our cabin :D.
Adorable :).
This is Esther Sanni taking a picture of the sunrise. She came ALL the way from Manchester, England! It was her first time to visit the United States :D.
She was so nice and her Nigerian/British accent was charming :D.
It was SO lovely on our back porch!! It was the perfect place to have Bible time. The wind off of the lake blowing on you, the sunrise…mmm ๐
Everyone enjoyed the lake :).
These are my friends Bethany Jennings, Jaime Ashley, and Melissa Yakes (Melissa is a wonderful musician! Check out her youtube channel!).
They’re so cute :D.
And this is Marie Hargrave (soon to be Champagne ๐ ๐ [pronounced shom-pon]).
She’s a sweetie :D.
Beautiful :).
Here’s Melissa again :D.
And here’s another fantastic musician friend of mine, Stephen Gates :D. And guess what! You can download his music for FREE here! So, go do it! You won’t regret it :D.
…was because we were listening to Stephen and Abby practice a song Stephen wrote for Marie’s wedding!! Let me tell ya, people, it was absolutely beautiful. Hopefully it’ll be on his next cd :D.
I love this picture :D.
Sitting next to Kayleigh, is Martha Smith :D. She was really sweet :).
And here are just a few of the guys: Michael Ford, Jase Ely, and Daniel Alcala.
Stephen “Isaacing” ;D (the name “Isaac” means “laughter” and one of the preachers spoke on the significance of it ๐ ).
Stephen’s guitar case :).
Okay, the driveway of the campground was SOO beautiful! I immediately thought of Pride and Prejudice.
I loved how there were Bible verse around the camp ground :).
And here is my other dear friend Elizabeth Ann Blum letting the Word of God dwell in her richly ๐ (referencing one of the sermons again ๐ ).
Have a great weekend, y’all :D.
With a smile,

These are wonderful. Looks like you had a grand time.
Wow, looks like such a wonderful time. Those were some great pics, Rachel! ๐
Beautiful!
OK, these comments may seem random, but I really like: the "freedom is only in Christ" shirt, the Don't Waste Your Life sticker, the picture of the Bible and the ring, the "Isaacing", and you. ๐ Great photo-journalistic portraiture!
