Two Saturdays ago, I had the honor of capturing Dr. Jon and Mrs. Kathleen Tompkins’ 50th wedding anniversary party at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club :).The cake was made by Calavera Cakery. Isn’t it great?

They really paid attention to detail :).

Family and friends started to arrive :D.

The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the slideshow, especially when they saw themselves in a picture :D.

The grandchildren came up one at a time and each one gave their grandmother a rose :).

Then their son spoke; he did a great job :).

There was no shortage of smiling faces at this party :D.

So sweet.

Then they introduced some special friends :).

Married for 50 years…

Congratulations again, Dr. Jon and Mrs. Kathleen, on 50 years of marriage! It was wonderful hearing about y’all’s life together and seeing all of y’all’s friends so happy for y’all :D.
